Inverkip Hub Walking Football festival

Inverkip Hub and Morton in the Community hosted a walking football festival on Friday 29th March 1pm till 4pm

The festival for over 50’s included teams from Greenock, Inverkip, and Largs.

28 participants took part with four teams playing four games each all games were streamed live onto the big screen for those waiting to play which was fantastic our very own VAR 📺..

After the football the guys enjoyed home baking and teas, coffees ,biscuits and a light hearted prize giving ceremony with prizes for …🥇…Best nutmeg ……🏆…..worst refereeing decision……🥉…..best hip recovery ....and who spat the dummy out first ....

The awards were presented by Bill Stewart and Mike Drobczuk from the hub .Special thanks to Paddy from Morton in the Community for refereeing also a huge thanks to the teams from Lady Octavia and Largs for taking part .
